Acrobat Reader DC – clear recent files list

For whatever reason you may wish to clear the recent files list from Acrobat Reader DC (I had a case where the link produced an error, even though the target file was fine and would open without going through the recent files link). To clear the entire list, fire up Registry Editor and browse to the following location:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\AVGeneral\cRecentFiles

Delete that key and its contents.
