Change network location type

For certain apps, and firewall exceptions, you may need to change the network type that your server OS thinks you are connected to, e.g. from Public to Private.

In Server Manager | Local Servers | Tools | Local Security Policy | Network List Manager Policies – right click on (for example) Network 1 (i.e. the name found in “View your active networks”).
Click on the “Network Location” tab and select a “Location type”.
